This gold ripe puerh gets it’s unique colouring by a slower fermentation process which is 40% longer than traditional puerh. This is a great tea for people starting to get into ripe puerh as it’s quite mild (comparatively). Golden Puerh as with Yunnan Gold is comprised of entirely young tips.
This tea has a thick sweetness along with the ‘musty’ flavour that ripe pu erhs have.
