Description
This high quality Gen Mai Cha is made with Gyokuro Stems, high quality sencha leaves and unpolished white rice. The use of Gyokuro stems makes this Gen Mai Cha stand out from the rest.
The rice has been carefully roasted and some of the rice has popped which resembles popcorn.
The flavours of this tea is a little “greener” in flavour than other versions which is something I really enjoy as the rice isn’t over powering. The best way to brew this tea is to go against the general advice for green tea and use boiling water and brew for 30 seconds.
